Arts Place Awards $25,000 in Regional
Partnership Grants to Madison County Arts Organizations
Anderson, Indiana (08-26-2010) - On
Thursday, August 12, 2010, five Madison County arts organizations were awarded
$25,038 of the $144,968 available in Regional Partnership Grant Awards for
Region Five. Region Five includes twelve counties in East Central Indiana:
Adams, Blackford, Delaware, Fayette, Grant, Henry, Jay, Madison, Randolph, Rush,
Union, and Wayne.
Arts Place received 33 grant
applications, of which 22 were funded. These grants are made possible by the
Indiana Arts Commission with funds appropriated by the Indiana General Assembly
and the U.S. Congress, through the National Endowment for the Arts, and are for
the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2010.
