CARMEL - VETERINARY SPECIALTY HOSPITAL RECEIVES PRESTIGIOUS
AWARD

City Veterinary Specialty & Emergency Hospital in Carmel,
Indiana, was recognized with an “Award of Honor” by the
Associated Builders and Contractors of Indiana during their
recent Annual ABC Construction Awards program. Contractor, Fred
Jones of C.F. Jones Group, Inc., Lebanon, Lori Anderson of
Peterson Architecture, Dr. Terry L. Grieshaber, the hospital’s
owner, along with the design team of Candace Berger and Cara
Ratay of Envirospace, accepted this celebrated award for their
winning project. ABC of Indiana annually sponsors this award
program to recognize the quality and diversity of construction
in Indiana. An outside panel of judges based their choices on
each project’s constructability, uniqueness, overall impact, and
safety records.
The 14, 500 sq. ft. building was designed to serve the
veterinary community with a referral center for specialized and
emergency medicine. A great deal of research and planning went
into this project and careful attention to detail was a priority
throughout construction. As one observer stated, “The building’s
beauty and functionality reflect its purpose and complements the
profession.”
