If there
is one
thing
for
sure,
Pendleton,
Indiana
takes
its
baseball
very
seriously.
Not to
say that
other
sports
are just
a
sideline
here,
but
baseball
holds a
very
special
meaning
to
everyone
here.
Why?
Because
this is
one of
Pendleton
mega
events
which
begins
with a
huge
parade
through
downtown,
continuing
on
through
Falls
Park
ending
up of
the
north
side of
Pendleton
in one
of the
most
beautiful
sports
complexes
to be
found
anywhere.
Then
there’s
the
games,
and the
food,
and one
great
time all
day
long.
This
year,
this
totally
volunteer
staff
which is
lead
this
year by
Chris
Robinette,
will
play
host to
just
short of
1,000
players
who over
the
course
of the
2009
baseball
season
will
play a
total of
650
games. |
