Aubrey Sparling, a High School Senior at Pendleton Heights High School, held an event she named, "Pet Adoption Fair" which was themed around an effort to educate visitors about what is a major, and growing problem, puppy mills which are springing up all over the U.S. About puppy mills; According to Animal World USA, “there are 4,000-5,000 puppy mills in the U.S., most of which are located in the Midwest.
