Fishers 08-29-2009  - A benefit car show for Prevail was held at the Hummer Dealer in Fishers, Indiana Staurday. It was a great show with a huge turn out.
I spoke with Mr. Jim Randolph and his wife, Maryann, who brought a beautiful 1937 Buick Special to the show Saturday. At one time Jim said they were doing about 100 car shows a year with this car.

It was a pleasure meeting you today and we all appreciate your taking the time for review the Community Car Show.
The sponsors' were: Town of Fishers, Lockhart Cadillac, Saturn of Fishers and Greek Pizzaria.
The show was a benefit for Prevail-for aid to battered women; Alexis Castro and Shelby Craft, both of whom are daughters of Saturn of Fishers employees, for aid in paying medical expenses.
Over 100 cars were displayed and the top 50 received awards stating that it was the 1st Annual Community Car Show. A 1953 Hudson Hornet with the title of Hollywood won Best of Show.
All of the sponsors' are thankful for the great turn out and the beautiful weather that made the day quite spectacular.
