Anderson, Indiana –
Alternatives of Madison County held a domestic
violence event at Anderson Speedway Saturday
afternoon, “Race Against Domestic Violence”.
Mary Jo
Lee, with Alternatives, said with the economic
downturn that domestic violence crimes have been
increasing. They are in need of donations of
almost any nature to help in the care of
domestic violence victims.
Mary Jo also said
that anyone who has been a victim of domestic
violence or if you are someone who suspect
domestic violence is occurring to call 911. She
said that call could help save a life.
Alternative of
Madison County also maintains a 24-7 Hot Line
for anyone who feels the need to call. That
number is 765-643-0200.
