God does
work in
mysterious
ways.
While
trying
to track
down a
pilot I
had
wanted
to
interview
since
seeing
his act
in 2008
at the
INDY Air
Show in
Mt.
Comfort,
Indiana
I was
drawn,
or maybe
pushed,
in the
direction
of an
airplane
parked
for
display
just
south of
the INDY
Aero
building.
There I
met Mr.
Hal
Blank
who is
Chief
Pilot
and CEO
of
Grace on
Wings.
After
speaking
to Mr.
Blank
for what
was just
a coupe
of
moments
about
what he
does as
part of
Grace on
Wings,
it
became
evident
that I
was put
there,
at this
time and
place,
for a
reason.
And that
reason
was to
share
with you
what
Grace on
Wings
is all
about.
Grace on
Wings
is the
only
charity
air
ambulance
in the
country.
They are
a
non-profit,
faith
based,
organization
that
provides
charity
air
ambulance
services
within
the
United
States
and is
based
out of
the
Indianapolis
International
Airport.
