Pendleton Police Department wins the Law
and Order Magazine's 2008 International
Police Vehicle Design contest
During the Pendleton Public Safety
Day we had an opportunity to speak with
two of Pendleton's finest, Chief Marc
Farrer and Captain Randy Sidwell, about
the Pendleton Police Department winning
the Law and Order Magazine's 2008
International Police Vehicle Design
contest for police car design.
This is one of the top honors any police
department receives and one that brings
a great deal of public attention, not
only to the police department, but the
entire community as well. The design
selected to go onto the Department's new
Dodge's was a collaborative effort by
the entire Pendleton Police Department.
This stunning look, not only makes
Pendleton’s police cars very
recognizable on the street, it also says
a lot about the high standards of this
Police Department. And these high
standards played a big part in Pendleton
winning out over some very fine entries.
