PROCLAIM - One Voice One Hope

What a night! Pendleton, Indiana was in a “Halloween-State-of-Mind” and downtown was the place to be.

The Old Depot Shoppes parking lot was filled with Trick and Treaters who came for the candy and other sweet treats being handed out by the PROCLAIM Group and visiting the different Halloween displays set up by the group.

In past years the Churches of South Madison County Churches have set up their Halloween operation up downtown independently. This year, with the formation of PROCLAIM, the South Madison Churches have joined together and set up as a combined unit.

We spoke with several members of PROCLAIM (www.proclaim1hope1voice.org) , Ken Cobb, Gary Goodby, Gayla Dick, and Debbie Lloyd at the Old Depot Shops here in Pendleton. They started off early Mr. Cobb said they started off the Halloween morning with a community service for elderly people in the area. They also cleaned up State Street in Pendleton Halloween morning.

In addition to the setting up booths in the Old Depot Shoppes for Halloween Trick and Treaters, they were providing live music in Falls Park for the Teenagers beginning at 7pm.
