Indiana State Police Sobriety Checkpoint
Results
Carmel - Sergeant Bill Spalding has released the
results from the sobriety checkpoint held in
Hamilton County yesterday evening. Twenty
Indiana State Troopers participated in the
checkpoint located at 4146 East 96th street in
Carmel. The checkpoint was held from 10:30 p.m.
to 1 a.m.
The Indiana State Police will continue
saturation patrols and sobriety checkpoints
throughout the year in an effort to keep the
drunk driver off the road. The Pendleton Post
covers Hamilton, Madison, and Hancock counties.
Citizens are urged to call 911 to report
impaired or aggressive drivers they may
encounter on the roadway. This sobriety
checkpoint ran concurrently with Blitz 58 of
Operation Pull Over which targeted
drunk/aggressive drivers for this campaign.
Operation Pull Over Blitz 58 ends on Sunday.
