Richmond, IN. - Last weekend we were in Georgia for our grandson, Isiah's graduation. We are so very proud of Isiah. He received the Presidents Award of Excellent Studies. We thought that was great since he was graduating from the fifth grade.

While we were there we ate at a restaurant that served, Grilled Peaches for dessert. Well they were so good I had to try them this week since I brought peaches home with us.

2 Tablespoons light brown sugar

½ teaspoon cinnamon

4 fresh peaches

Olive oil

Vanilla ice cream

Combine the brown sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl. Cut the peaches in half and remove the pit. Brush the cut side of the peaches with oil and put the peaches cut side down on the grill over direct heat till the peaches have grill marks, 3 to 4 minutes. Brush the tops with oil, turn the peaches and move them to indirect heat. ( I turned off my center burner and placed them there for the indirect heat area). Sprinkle the cut sides with cinnamon and sugar, cover the grill and cook till sugar is melted and peaches are tender about 10 minutes. Serve with vanilla ice cream and sprinkle with extra cinnamon sugar. ENJOY!
