Richmond, Indiana - While returning from a weekend trip I didn’t have anything for desert the next evening so I found this recipe in one of my magazines and realized I had every thing in the pantry to prepare this cake. It only took a few minutes to put together and was a big hit with the adults and children alike. Enjoy!

STRANGERS CAKE

1 yellow cake mix

4 eggs

1 cup water

½ cup oil

½ cup chopped pecans

1 (16oz.) container coconut pecan frosting ( I know this sound odd but adding the frosting in the cake makes it real moist and adds such flavor.)

Preheat oven to350*. Grease and flour bundt pan. Mix together cake mix, eggs, water, oil, chopped pecans, and frosting. Pour into the cake pan for about 40 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
