Rita Harvey has many, many accomplishments and skills of which fine cooking is only one. For many years Rita orchestrated the interior design, decorating, and paining of many of the finer homes and businesses throughout Wayne, Hamilton, Marion counties in Indiana as well as eastern Ohio.

Rita, and her husband Fred, have traveled extensively throughout Europe, Asia, and the United States. If ask where her favorite destination would be Rita would say, "the next one". Among her favorite spots to have visited so far are Hong Kong, seeing the Great Wall in China, and Hawaii.

Presently Rita heavily evolved with the Wayne County Builders Association in Richmond, Indiana. She not only edits and publishes the monthly newsletter she also oversees the planning for the associations monthly meetings and activities. Rita also provides consultation on interior design and decorating on a select basis.

Rita has two daughters, Lisa (Richmond, Indiana) and Lori (Centerville, Indiana).

Rita's husband, Fred R. Harvey (July 26, 1941 - June 23, 2009), was President of Fred Harvey Builders in Richmond.
