Dad's Fruit Salad

Bookmark and Share

This recipe came from my Dad.  I remember watching him cut up the fresh fruit every year at Thanksgiving.  I just couldn’t wait till it was finished so I could test it!

Preparing the Holiday meals at our home was a joint effort. Mother and Dad would start early in the morning and work till it was time to eat. I can remember waking up to the smell of that big turkey roasting and the pies baking wow what a wonderful memory!

I try to make memories of the holidays with my children and grandchildren while preparing meals for those times we share together as a family are blessed.

Thanksgiving reminds me of so many blessings and so many memories to cherish. I hope that your Thanksgiving is rich with meaning and blessed with warmth together with your family and friends. God Bless and Enjoy.
