DIRT PUDDING

Bookmark and Share

Richmond, IN. - If all of you Mother’s and Grandmothers want to make your children happy, this is the recipe! Now our granddaughter, Madison ask to make this wonderful recipe herself. We like this at Holidays or just for a Sunday dinner dessert. When I take this one to potlucks at church I can make 2 or 3 of them and they disappear almost immediately. I got this recipe from my sister, Ruthie years ago and I use it several times a year, and have passed it along to our friends and family as I am sure you will. ENJOY!

DIRT PUDDING

1 LARGE BOX OF OREO COOKIES
2 PACKAGES OF FRENCH VANILLA PUDDING (INSTANT)
3 CUPS OF WHOLE MILK
1-8 OUNCE CONTAINER OF CREAM CHEESE (SOFTENED)
1- 8 OZ. CONTAINER OF COOL WHIP

SEPARATE COOKIES, ONE PART OF THE COOKIE IN A BOWL, JUST THE CHOCOLATE COOKIE, AND IN ANOTHER BOWL THE CHOCOLATE COOKIE WITH THE CREAM ON IT.
CRUSH THE COOKIE WITH THE CREAM ON IT AND THEN PUT IT IN THE BOTTOM OF A LARGE BAKING DISH.

IN A BOWL MIX 2 PACKAGES OF FRENCH VANILLA PUDDING AND 3 CUPS OF WHOLE MILK UNTIL IT GETS THICK, ADD CREAM CHEESE (SOFTENED) AND BLEND THEN ADD COOL WHIP AND BLEND IN. POUR OVER COOKIES IN YOUR DISH AND SPREAD THE PLAIN CRUSHED COOKIES OVER THE TOP OF THE CREAM MIXTURE AND REFRIGERATE. WOW… IS THIS EVER DELICIOUS, IT MAKES ME HUNGRY JUST WRITING TO YOU ABOUT THIS RECIPE.
