LISA’S FUDGE

Bookmark and Share

It has been a while since I have wrote to you all, and I sure have missed that! The emails I get from you are always so uplifting, thank you for your support. I do have a couple of new recipes that I want to share with you.

The first one is a recipe that my daughter gave me. She came over a few nights before our Christmas Gathering and we made fudge for almost 5 hours, what fun! (And what a lot of fudge… chocolate, chocolate mint, peanut butter, and vanilla). It just wasn’t the cooking, but the sharing of memories that the girls had when they grew up…making candy, cookies, and stuffing that big turkey in that pillow case……….well we would talk about that later. Anyway this fudge is wonderful and very, very, simple. I hope you enjoy this as much as our family dose. I am sorry I don’t have a picture of this one, however with all the children and the big kids it didn’t last long.

LISA’S FUDGE

1-CUP SUGAR

½ TEASPOON SALT

3 TABLESPOONS BUTTER

½ CUP HEAVY CREAM

1 AND 1/3 CUP MINI MARSHMELLOWS

1 & 1/3 CUP MINI MORSLES (CHOCOLAT, ANDY’S MINT, VALILLA, PEANUT BUTTER, OR WHAT EVER FLAVOR YOU PREFERE,

½ TEASPOON PUR VANILLA

¾ CUP WALNUTS (IF YOU SO DESIRE)

COOK THE FIRST 5 INGRENIENTS TILL IT COMES TO A BOIL THEN REMOVE AND ADD THE LAST THREE INGREDIENTS.

Stir, stir, and stir, ( the stiring makes it creamy) then pour into a loaf pan that has been lined with a wax paper. Let stand until firm, pull up wax paper to remove and cut.

ENJOY!
