POMODORO

Bookmark and Share

Sometimes when I come in after a long day, I don’t want to spend a lot of time in the kitchen, but I still want to have a tasty dinner for my family. This one is so quick and easy to prepare and also very tasty. I like it because it‘s not as heavy as some pasta sauces. It is also a wonderful appetizer served on crusty bread. I hope you all enjoy this as much as we do.

POMODORO

8 Medium Tomatoes

11 Basil Leaves, fresh and chopped

3 cloves of Garlic

6 or 7 Tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil

1 and1/2 Teaspoons Garlic Salt (or to taste)

1 teaspoon Fresh Ground Pepper

½ cup Ragu Pasta Sauce

Chop tomatoes into small cubes and add the rest of your ingredients stir and let it sit to let all flavors mix together. I like to serve it warm over Capellini Pasta, remember just to warm it so you don’t cook your tomatoes. This is delicious with a salad and some warm breadsticks. I always found when I make this it always taste better when I use fresh ingredients. ENJOY
