Coffee Can Pumpkin Bread

Perfect for Halloween festivities or any other special occasion.

Ingredients
3 1/2 Cups Flour
2 Tablespoon Soda
1 ½ Teaspoon Salt
1 Teaspoon Nutmeg
1 Teaspoon Cinnamon
3 Cups Sugar
4 Eggs
2/3 Cup Water
1 Teaspoon Vanilla
1 Can Pumpkin (2 C.)
1 Cup melted Shortening
Nuts if preferred


Combine sugar, eggs, water, vanilla, pumpkin and shortening. Then fold in dry ingredients, well mixed. Bake at 350 degrees about 1 hour in flour and greased 1 pound coffee can.
