Pendleton,
Indiana
- On
Saturday
the
local
area
churches
and
members
of the
local
community
came
together
in Falls
Park for
the
annual
Back-To-School-Fair.
Each
year
these
groups
volunteer
their
time to
make
sure
every
child,
who
might
not
otherwise
have,
the
school
supplies
they
need at
the
start of
the
school
year.
Police
Chief
Marc
Farrer
and
officer
Price
were
there to
distribute
free gun
locks
and to
provide
parents
with
I.D.
Kits for
the
children.
A huge
auction
was held
in the
main
shelter
house.
There
was
continuous
music by
a number
of
groups
at the
Gazebo,
Smith
Farm
provided
several
animals
for
children
to pet,
the
Pendleton
Fire
Department
gave
rides in
the
antique
fire
truck,
plus
numerous
games,
and
other
activities
throughout
Falls
Park.
This
Back-To-School-Fair
was one
of the
largest
we have
seen to
date.
Everyone
involved
made
this
years
Back-To-School-Fair
outstanding.
